Registered Manager

Hand in Hand Childcare is a small specialist provider of Residential Children's Homes. We are currently looking for a Registered Manager for one of our homes in Birmingham. The home is currently rated "Good" in all areas, and we are on a journey towards providing specialist therapeutic care and support. We would be open to hearing from experienced registered managers, and deputy managers who feel it is the right time for them to step up to the role of Registered Manager.

The Registered Manager will manage a home for three children with emotional and behavioural difficulties to the highest standard, whilst ensuring positive outcomes for young people are being met.

The role:

• Be a leader for the home and inspire your team

• Manage the home on a daily basis

• Supervision of staff and the Deputy Manager

• Working in accordance with Children's Home Regulations 2015

• Management of budgets and projects

• Liaise with social workers and external professionals

• Attend meetings

• Ensure the effective safeguarding of all children and young people

• Ensure positive outcomes for children and young people

  
  

Qualifications

• QCF Level 5 Children and Young People (or working toward)

• Full UK Driving Licence

  
  

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
